Do you do commissions?

Yes! You can find out all about how to commission a portrait of your own pet in coloured pencil via my commissions page.

How much is it?

My pricing/size table is at the bottom of my commissions page.

Do you draw from photographs?

One of the most frequent questions! Yes, all artwork is drawn from photographs that I’ve either taken myself, the client has or I’ve found on copyright free photograph sites.

Are payment plans available?

Yes! We can arrange a payment schedule to suit you and your timeframe! Just email me to discuss.

Is there a waitlist?

When contacting me about commissions, I’ll always let you know immediately when my next available slot is.

Some framed original pieces are local pickup only – will you post overseas?

I avoid sending framed items overseas as they are heavy, glass fronted and unlikely to arrive intact, but all artwork can be unframed and posted out! Please contact me via email to discuss.

What pencils/paper do you use?

You can read all about my materials by joining my Art Club! The Blush Membership level includes access to all past and present blog posts.

How long does it take to draw a portrait?

It totally depends on the subject, size and colouring, I tend to work on a portrait over about 3 or 4 days.

When did you start drawing?

I’ve always loved drawing but I started taking it seriously in 2016 when I completed a foundation degree in illustration and drew my first ever pet portraits of my own four legged friends.

What does a ‘giclée’ print mean?

‘Giclée’ refers to how the ink is sprayed onto the paper, giclée prints use a broader range of coloured archival pigment ink and acid-free paper – meaning the print quality is extremely good and the colours will not fade for 80-100 years!

If you have any questions – feel free to contact me and I’ll add it here!
