‘Buttercup Cow’ Original

My original hand drawn coloured pencil illustration of a gorgeous cow.

She’s been on my to-do list and in my work-in-progress drawer for years! I first took the reference photo for this girl in around 2014, I drew the beginning outline in 2019 and finally got around to the colouring, in January of 2021. She’s been a long time coming and I’m thrilled with the outcome.

Buttercup here is my largest piece so far, lovingly named by my mum and waiting on her forever home.

Materials: Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d’Ache Pablos and Luminance, and Derwent Lightfast pencils on Fabriano Artistico Paper.

Size is approx A2 (60x42cm)
